During my studies, I undertook a project to redesign a multitool in the branding style of a specific company, with my choice being the renowned brand "Makita." This project involved thorough research, including user studies, brand analysis, ergonomic assessment, and production feasibility research, all aimed at achieving the perfect design.

I began with in-depth user research to understand how users interacted with multitools and what features and characteristics were essential for a satisfying experience. I then conducted extensive brand research to comprehend Makita's core values, style, and visual identity.

Ergonomics played a crucial role in the design process, ensuring that the redesigned product not only stayed true to the Makita aesthetic but was also comfortable and efficient for the intended target audience.

Lastly, I conducted detailed production research to ensure that the new design was feasible for manufacturing, making it a realistic Makita product.

The final outcome was a multitool design that embraced Makita's signature style, was ergonomic, and feasible for production. This design would give customers the feeling of having an authentic Makita product that met their expectations for quality and functionality.
